Abstract:In order to solve the problem of frequent broken ends of card sliver on the elevated of drawing frame after combing，the causes and hazards are summarized，and the technical measures to reduce the broken ends of card sliver are discussed from three aspects of standardizing production management and operation，strengthening equipment management and maintenance，and adjustment measure of congestion of combed sliver in coiler mechanism.It can be achieved by temperature and humidity control，strengthening cleaning，adjusting the width of the cotton net，checking the draft pressure mechanism and cleaning sheet，and selecting the carding accessories.It is pointed out that the frequent broken ends on the elevated of drawing frame is closely related to the entanglement and congestion of the combing machine.It is necessary to strengthen the operation management and the cleaning of the machine，reduce the entanglement of the draft roller and cot，and reduce the congestion of the cotton collector，the flared mouth and the coil mechanism.At the same time，we should pay attention to equipment management and maintenance，familiar with the process route of the combing coiler drive system，optimize the design and adjust the tension drafting process of the combing coiler.
