Abstract:In order to solve the oil leakage problem of oil-bath gearbox，the reasons for oil leakage such as large oil drop amount，unreasonable design of rear draft fixed seat and oil seal damage are analyzed in detail.By adjusting the oil droping device，installing gasket and sealing ring，and making the ring bevel outer ring，the problem of oil leakage in the gear box is solved.It is pointed out that the modified oil-bath gearbox can save about 45 kg of mechanical oil per month，reduce the labor intensity and reduce the workshop environment pollution.
